About the Role

Join A2 Automation Sdn. Bhd., a growing system integrator specializing in ELV, ICT, Security, and Automation Solutions. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing project resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural and technical drawings for ELV, ICT, and security systems.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and site activities.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and timeline.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspection, and certification of works.
• Prepare project documents, progress reports, claims, and submissions.
• Coordinate drawings and plans for consultant/client approval.
• Monitor project budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Identify and resolve site issues and project delays.
• Supervise technicians, project staff, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings, risk assessments, and other project-related activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, IT, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ELV, ICT, security systems, construction, or related industries.
• Experience managing construction sites or multiple projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Networking, ELV, or ICT systems is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites.
• Willing to work beyond normal hours or attend on-call duties when required.
