Position: Process Engineer

Location: Ampang Ulu Klang, Kuala Lumpur

Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

2.      Design, implement, and maintain efficient production methods.

3.      Identify and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

4.      Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity.

5.      Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

6.      Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.

7.      Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality standards.

8.      Provide technical support to production teams.

9.      Collaborate with R&D to introduce new products into manufacturing.

10.   Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.

11.   Train and mentor production staff in best practices.

12.   Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and food safety regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1.      Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, food engineering, food science or related field.

2.     Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production engineering role or 2-3 years’ experience in related field.

3.      Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.

4.      Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

5.      Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

6.      Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

7.      Knowledge of safety, health, environmental and quality standards.

8.      Adaptability and a strong desire for continuous learning.
