Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our construction and renovation projects, ensuring optimal cost control, timely delivery, and the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle ongoing projects independently

* Prepare cost estimates, tender quotations and quantity take-off

* Prepare and manage variation orders (VO)

* Monitor project budget and cost control

* Obtain and compare subcontractor / supplier quotations

* Evaluate subcontractor progress claims

* Maintain project cost reports and commercial records

* Attend site meetings when required

* Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and designers

* Prepare and close project final accounts

* Highlight commercial risks and cost overruns to Contract Manager

* Assist in updating the company annual Tender Price Book

Requirements

* Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline

* Experience in Singapore construction industry preferred

* Landed residential / reconstruction / A&A experience is an advantage

* Able to read architectural and structural drawings

* Good quantity take-off and costing skills

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Able to handle multiple projects independently

* Good communication and negotiation skills

* Organised, responsible and detail-oriented
