Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our Malaysia team in Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary technical skills and expertise to ensure the flawless commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Attend and witness onsite testing and factory testing.
• Write test reports and log issues.
• Review and develop test method statements, scripts and checklists.
• Review test reports and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Support project team members, step in to help at peak periods, step up to cover others on leave.
• Demonstrate a strong learning mindset and openness to feedback.
• Consistently improve technical competency through site exposure and training.
• Coach junior staff on Cx process, technical topics and soft skills.
• Develop and conduct training modules for NV5 Academy.

Requirements and skills

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Industry specific certifications or qualifications (e.g. BCxP, CDCP, CTDC, UTI ATD, LEED AP, NEBB).
• Further engineering qualifications (e.g. Masters, Chartered Engineer, PE).
• Deep technical knowledge in at least one building services engineering discipline and good understanding of others.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Fluency in English.

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
