About the role

Oversee daily procurement operations, manage suppliers performance and optimize supply chain cost.

Key responsibilities

• Direct purchasing of electronic parts / SMT components, metals, plastic and packaging material

• Evaluate, select and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers on price, quality, payment terms and delivery schedules

• Negotiate price and terms; flag cost increases early

• Monitor inventory levels to balance production demands with capital targets and prevent material shortage

• Qualify suppliers, get quotes, compare price, quality, capacity, MOQ and lead time

• Issue POs, track shipments and chase anything for production

• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production and Sales team to align vendors' capability

• Handle daily communication with China / oversea vendors

Requirements

• 3 + years of purchasing experience in home appliance manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

• Fluent Cantonese and fluent Mandarin (spoken and written). Fair English for communication

• Strong negotiation, leadership and self-motivate

• Can read drawings and BOMs is preferable

• Willing to Visit factory and suppliers in China

• Station at Dongguan China factory

• Related working experience is a MUST
