Job Summary
The role is primarily responsible for the handling of all aspects of warehouse management system and assisting the DCs (Distribution Centres) support chain operations with focus on the ordering and receiving team to ensure orders are created, received, picked and delivered to customers and other miscellaneous duties assigned to support the merchandising team.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate Warehouse Management System ensuring stocks are tallied with ERP system.
- Ensure strict adherence to all operational and logistics processes associated with each activity on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Implement necessary processes and setups to prevent any stock loss, maintain accurate stock counts, and thoroughly investigate any discrepancies that may arise.
- Monitor daily order drop off, creating Purchase orders for vendors and monitor RTV
- Establish efficient stock management tools and processes across all platforms to enhance overall productivity.
- Lead the operations admin support team, supporting both the admin and warehouse operations teams in achieving their objectives and resolving day-to-day challenges while aligning with corporate competencies.
- Be the key user of the warehouse management system, ordering system and ERP system, liaising with various stakeholders including IT department, procurement team and administrative team to ensure smooth operation.
- Responding to ad-hoc issues.
- Other tasks as and when assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- Relevant warehouse or logistics certifications are an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, inventory control, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting or supervising warehouse operations is preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory processes.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Strong documentation and data-entry skills.
- Understanding of stock control, receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and stock take procedures.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with barcode/RFID systems is an advantage.
