WE ARE HIRING | Linux Engineer

Location: Equatorial Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Salary: RM 10,500 – RM 12,000
Eligibility: Malaysian nationals only

We are looking for an experienced Linux Engineer to support enterprise Linux infrastructure, network security, firewall environments, and modern infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux operating systems.
• Manage and support RHEL, NixOS, GUIX, and Immutable OS environments.
• Configure and maintain Linux-based networking and security components.
• Work with nftables and Stateful Firewall technologies.
• Support network security, zoning, and firewall implementation.
• Troubleshoot Routing & Switching at L2 and network connectivity issues.
• Work with Cisco, FortiGate, Check Point, and Palo Alto firewall environments.
• Support security technologies including Cilium, Suricata, and Zeek.
• Participate in infrastructure deployment, migration, implementation, and optimization projects.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
• Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, and operational standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with Linux OS and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, and Immutable OS is preferred.
• Knowledge of nftables, security zoning, and Stateful Firewall technologies.
• Experience with Routing & Switching (L2).
• Knowledge of Cisco, FortiGate, Check Point, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience with Cilium, Suricata, and Zeek is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of network and infrastructure security.

Pay: RM10,500.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
