Full Stack Technical Lead (CL 9)Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead to lead the end-to-end technical delivery of a large-scale B2B Commerce and Customer Portal Transformation programme.

The role requires a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud, CI/CD, data integration and DevOps, together with the ability to lead engineering teams and manage technical delivery, risks and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery across design, development, integration, migration, deployment, cutover and hypercare.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination across Frontend, Backend/BFF, Database and DevOps teams.
• Design and deliver scalable, secure and highly available enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Develop and oversee APIs, data models, application components and enterprise integration solutions.
• Design and implement data-intensive solutions, integration flows and data pipelines across enterprise systems.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and environment management across AWS/Azure environments.
• Ensure engineering standards, architecture compliance, code quality and technical governance.
• Embed observability, monitoring, performance management and operational readiness into solution delivery.
• Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, production releases and hypercare.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies and delivery sequencing across multiple engineering squads.
• Prepare operational deliverables including monitoring dashboards, runbooks, support documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, customers and delivery teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with 3+ years in a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead role.
• 6+ years of experience in B2B Order-to-Cash (O2C), B2B commerce or customer portal transformation programmes.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of B2B commerce capabilities, including customer portals, ordering, pricing, fulfilment, billing and related enterprise processes.
• Strong full-stack knowledge across frontend, backend, databases, APIs and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including infrastructure automation and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments and environment management.
• Strong experience integrating enterprise applications, configured platforms and third-party systems/APIs.
• Experience with data pipelines, data transformation, data quality, lineage and observability.
• Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) and management tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Azure Application Insights or similar.
• Experience with production support, monitoring, incident troubleshooting and operational readiness.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, architecture and technical governance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
• Experience managing large-scale migration and cutover activities.
• Experience working across geographically distributed engineering teams.
