We’re Hiring: Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: 12-month renewable contract

Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 per month

Experience: 2–5 years

We are looking for an AWS-certified Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, operations, deployment, and optimisation for Orange Business in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, operating system, network, and application-related issues.
• Support cloud migration, deployment, upgrades, and operational activities.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and load balancers.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, logging, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and cost optimisation.
• Work with application, security, network, and project teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and incident reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, cloud operations, or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting AWS environments.
• A valid AWS certification is required, such as:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate
• An equivalent or higher-level AWS certification
• Good knowledge of Linux or Windows Server administration.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or Kubernetes would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with regional and technical teams.
