Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Microsoft 365 to provide end-to-end technical leadership across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operation and technical management of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Viva, Purview, Defender, Entra ID, Power Platform and Copilot.
• Ensure high service availability and performance while overseeing incident, problem and technical issue resolution.
• Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions and architectures to meet new business and technical requirements.
• Lead Microsoft 365 migration, modernisation and digital workplace transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate Microsoft 365 roadmap capabilities and recommend suitable technologies and services for adoption.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilots and innovation initiatives, particularly involving Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled solutions.
• Define and implement appropriate security, compliance and governance controls across the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture and solution reviews, and mentor technical team members.
• Develop automation and integration solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and related Microsoft technologies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams as a trusted technical advisor for digital workplace transformation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational incidents, technical debt and manual processes through automation and platform improvements.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies in enterprise environments.
• Deep technical knowledge across key Microsoft 365 workloads such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, compliance and governance, including technologies such as Purview and Defender.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and automation.
• Strong experience in solution architecture, systems integration and technical design.
• Experience supporting and deploying Microsoft 365 solutions at enterprise scale.
• Experience leading Microsoft 365 migrations, modernisation or transformation projects.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365 services.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and operations teams.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Experience with Power Platform, Copilot or AI-enabled Microsoft solutions would be highly advantageous.

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will have an advantage:

• Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
