Company Description ALLOYPLAS is a one-stop center specializing in air pollution control solutions for industrial clients. The company provides engineering expertise in systems such as chemical fume scrubbers, NOx scrubbers, ammonia strippers, particulate dust collectors, and odor/VOC control units. ALLOYPLAS also handles D.O.E. consultation and submission to support regulatory compliance. Its services include the design and installation of industrial ducting and piping networks, fabrication of chemical-resistant plastic tanks, and custom-made automation systems for efficient and safe operations.

Role Description :

The Drafter role at ALLOYPLAS is a full-time position based in Perai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. In this role, the Drafter prepares detailed technical drawings and layouts for air pollution control systems, ducting and piping networks, and chemical-resistant tanks using CAD software and established engineering standards. The Drafter collaborates closely with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts, verify dimensions, and update drawings based on feedback and site conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and maintaining drawing files, ensuring documentation accuracy for regulatory submissions, and supporting fabrication and installation teams with clear and precise drawings. The role also involves occasional site visits to gather measurements, review installations, and ensure designs are practical and compliant with safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and ability to produce clear 2D/3D technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical or industrial design principles, particularly related to piping, ducting, and tank fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant standards or codes.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate documentation and drawing records.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams.
• Basic knowledge of environmental or process engineering concepts is an advantage, especially related to air pollution control systems.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Comfort with a hybrid work setup, including occasional site visits in Perai and the ability to work independently from home.
