Job Description

·      We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise security technologies. 

·      The role will work closely with internal IT and cybersecurity teams as well as technology vendors to ensure security platforms remain operational, compliant, and effective. 

·      The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in security operations and familiarity with cloud-native security, database security, vulnerability management, and network fundamentals. 

 Key Responsibilities 

·      Incident Management:

o   Monitor and respond to security technology alerts and reported incidents. Investigate issues and escalate incidents or problems to relevant technical teams or technology vendors within the required service levels. 

·      Troubleshooting & Technical Support:

o   Provide operational support for security solutions, troubleshoot product-specific technical issues, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors through to resolution. 

·      Patch Management: 

o   Plan, coordinate, and implement regular security updates and patches to address vulnerabilities and maintain system compliance. 

·      Service & Change Requests:

o   Handle Change Requests (CRs), Service Requests (SRs), and other operational queries in accordance with established procedures and service levels. 

·      System Monitoring:

o   Perform continuous monitoring and regular health checks of security systems to identify issues and ensure operational effectiveness. 

·      Security Operations: 

o   Support the administration and operation of security technologies, including cloud-native application security, database security, and vulnerability management platforms. 

·      Collaboration & Reporting:

o   Work closely with IT and cybersecurity teams on incident management, operational reporting, technical investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

·      Proactive Security:

o   Keep up to date with emerging cybersecurity technologies, vulnerabilities, and industry practices, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the overall security posture. 

·      Documentation & Compliance: 

o   Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and security-related records. 

o   Ensure activities follow established security standards and processes. 

Minimum Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. 

·      2–5 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, security operations, or a related technical role. 

·      Hands-on knowledge or operational experience with 

·      Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) and container security. 

·      Experience with **Aqua Security (AquaSec)** or similar cloud-native/container security technologies is an advantage.

·       Knowledge of database security technologies and database schemas/architecture.

·       Experience with **Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)** or similar database security solutions is an advantage. 

·      * Experience with vulnerability management platforms and continuous security monitoring. 

·      * Knowledge of **Tenable Vulnerability Management (Tenable VMS)** or similar vulnerability management solutions is an advantage. 

·      * Fundamental knowledge of IP networking, including **TCP/IP, routing, and related networking concepts**. * **CCNA certification** or equivalent networking knowledge is an advantage. 

·      * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·       * Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

·      * Ability to work effectively with internal technical teams and external technology vendors.
