Job Description: Electrician (Singapore)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team in Singapore. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations in compliance with local regulations (EMA, BCA, WSH). The role requires hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure compliance with Singapore standards and codes of practice.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, technical diagrams, and circuit layouts.
• Support electrical works for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with EMA licensing requirements, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, and company safety policies.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.
• Maintain records of electrical works, test reports, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to complete projects on time.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Valid Electrician License / Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) (preferable, depending on scope of work).
• Proven experience as an electrician in Singapore (construction, facilities management, or industrial environment).
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Electrical Codes, EMA regulations, and WSH standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
