About Engineering Product Development (EPD) Pillar

EPD offers an interdisciplinary engineering programme that equips students to create innovative products, systems, and solutions for real-world challenges. Combining engineering foundations with design thinking, systems thinking, experiential learning, and industry engagement, the curriculum spans mechanical, electrical, robotics, healthcare, materials, and product design. EPD develops graduates who can work across disciplines, translate ideas into impactful solutions, and address evolving societal and industry needs. The Pillar also partners closely with industry to enhance internships, capstone projects, talent development, and lifelong learning.


About the Role

As a Manager, EPD Undergraduate Programme, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of EPD’s undergraduate programme in line with SUTD’s academic policies and EPD’s strategic priorities, covering curriculum and course administration, academic processes, student engagement, outreach, programme communications, data reporting, process documentation, continuous improvement, and coordination with faculty members, the undergraduate office, admissions, student administration and internal or cross-departmental colleagues to strengthen the quality and relevance of the undergraduate education experience.


What You Will Do

  • Support planning, coordination and administration of the EPD undergraduate programme in line with SUTD and EPD directions.
  • Coordinate with faculty and relevant offices on curriculum updates, course scheduling, teaching support and programme processes.
  • Manage undergraduate student matters, including engagement, communications, programme briefings and feedback.
  • Support programme outreach and engagement activities, including admissions events, industry partnerships, internships, design projects, mentorships and experiential learning initiatives.
  • Track and analyse programme data, student feedback and outcomes to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for EPD leadership and university management.
  • Ensure programme processes, documentation and communications are accurate, timely and compliant with university policies and governance requirements.


Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Business, Management or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • At least 6 years’ experience in academic programme administration, curriculum coordination, student administration, higher education operations or related programme management roles.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Supporting curriculum planning, course administration, academic processes or programme operations.
  • Building strong rapport with students and supporting meaningful student engagement.
  • Coordinating with faculty, students, internal offices and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing reports, programme communications, schedules, briefing materials and data-driven updates.
  • Strong understanding of higher education administration, academic governance preferably in an engineering, design or technology-related environment.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Professional, discreet and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Collaborative team player who works well across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong programme management and academic operations skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, planning and organisational abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking, evaluating and reporting on student feedback, programme performance and learning outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in engaging with and mentoring students.
