Role Description

We are seeking a Web3 Hedge Fund Analyst (Remote, Singapore) to conduct investment research, digital asset analysis, portfolio intelligence, and hedge fund strategy research across cryptocurrency and Web3 markets.

The role is suited to an analytical finance professional with experience in investment research, hedge funds, portfolio analysis, or digital assets. You will evaluate crypto investment opportunities, analyze fund strategies, monitor market conditions, and produce research that supports disciplined portfolio and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Research cryptocurrencies, digital asset funds, blockchain protocols, DeFi ecosystems, stablecoins, and Web3 investment opportunities

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative analysis of digital assets, protocols, and crypto-native investment strategies

• Evaluate hedge fund strategies, portfolio positioning, risk exposures, and performance

• Analyze tokenomics, liquidity, valuation, market structure, adoption, and competitive positioning

• Monitor cryptocurrency markets, volatility, capital flows, liquidity conditions, and institutional activity

• Track developments across DeFi, Layer 1, Layer 2, stablecoins, tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, and Web3 applications

• Prepare investment research reports, fund reviews, market intelligence updates, and investment memos

• Conduct due diligence on digital asset funds, protocols, managers, and emerging Web3 opportunities

• Analyze portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, correlations, and risk-adjusted performance

• Monitor existing investment themes and identify changes in market conditions or investment theses

• Analyze on-chain activity, wallet movements, token flows, and ecosystem growth metrics

• Research macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry developments affecting digital asset markets

• Evaluate quantitative, market-neutral, directional, arbitrage, and other crypto investment strategies

• Maintain market dashboards, research databases, fund trackers, and digital asset watchlists

• Collaborate with investment, research, strategy, and advisory professionals

• Present research findings and investment insights clearly to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment research, hedge funds, asset management, financial markets, portfolio analysis, or digital assets

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and Web3 markets

• Experience analyzing investment opportunities, portfolios, funds, or financial markets

• Knowledge of hedge fund strategies, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management

• Strong understanding of tokenomics, DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset market cycles

• Familiarity with on-chain analytics, blockchain explorers, crypto research platforms, and market-data tools

• Ability to evaluate liquidity, volatility, correlations, drawdowns, and risk-adjusted returns

• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research skills

• Understanding of quantitative and qualitative investment research methodologies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple research priorities

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

• English fluency required; Mandarin or other Asian-language capabilities are an advantage

Compensation

Salary range: SGD 120,000 - 140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Performance-based bonuses or additional incentives may be available.
