Technical Lead

Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and results-driven Technical Lead to lead the implementation and delivery of software solutions across Fintech, Financial Systems, ERP, and Enterprise Applications.

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of technical expertise, software implementation experience, project coordination, and client-facing skills. The candidate will work closely with clients, business users, Product, Engineering, QA, and Support teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end software implementation projects from requirement gathering to deployment and handover.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
• Lead system configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production handover.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Support teams for successful delivery.
• Manage integrations with Core Banking, ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure environment readiness, deployment coordination, documentation, and change management.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key technical point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.
• Conduct requirements workshops, technical discussions, testing reviews, and project closure sessions.
• Communicate project status, technical challenges, risks, and resolutions.
• Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.

Integration & Technical Troubleshooting

• Manage and troubleshoot API, ETL/ETTL, data migration, system integration, and configuration issues.
• Coordinate technical teams to resolve defects and integration challenges.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Support technical analysis and resolution of production issues.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Lead and coordinate SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
• Ensure requirements and changes are properly documented and traceable.
• Validate solutions before deployment and go-live.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance to development, QA, implementation, and support teams.
• Coordinate multiple technical activities and project priorities.
• Identify technical risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and implementation best practices.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in software implementation, technical delivery, or technical project environments.
• Strong experience with Fintech, Financial Systems, ERP, or Enterprise Applications.
• Strong understanding of software deployment and system configuration.
• Hands-on knowledge of API integration, ETL/ETTL, and data migration.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and QA coordination.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with multiple technical and business stakeholders.

Project & Delivery Skills

• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as:
• Jira
• MS Project
• Asana
• Google Sheets
• Similar project management/collaboration tools
• Experience managing multiple implementation activities and project priorities.
• Strong knowledge of risk, issue, change, and delivery management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• PMP Certification is an advantage.
• Agile/Scrum Certification is an advantage.
• Experience in Collections & Recovery platforms is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and financial technology platforms is preferred.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
