About Us

Brahm Centre is a registered mental health charity dedicated to promoting happier and healthier living through holistic programs. We empower individuals to create their own happiness. We are a full member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) and an Institution of Public Character (IPC). We offer science-based mindfulness programs to enhance mental well-being.

We have a care management team supported by trained volunteers. Working with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), the Ministry of Health (MOH) and healthcare and educational institutions, we support the community through health education, case management, counselling services and outreach. We offer wellness programs and art courses designed to enhance overall well-being.

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and people-oriented

Program & Volunteer Lead

to lead the delivery of Active Ageing Centre (AAC) programmes and support volunteer engagement. The role involves programme coordination, volunteer management, community outreach and partnership engagement, while working closely with seniors, volunteers and community partners to create meaningful and engaging experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Leadership & Delivery

Lead, coordinate and deliver AAC programmes, including activities for robust and frail seniors.

Plan and facilitate engaging activities that meet the needs and interests of seniors.

Monitor programme effectiveness and gather feedback to continuously improve participant engagement and experience.

Support the planning and organisation of communal dining and other centre activities.

2. Volunteer Engagement & Coordination

Recruit, coordinate and support volunteers according to their skills, interests and availability.

Organise volunteer outreach, training and appreciation activities to support effective volunteer engagement and retention.

Build positive relationships with volunteers and provide guidance and encouragement to support effective programme delivery.

Support CSR partnerships and volunteer-related collaborations.

Generate monthly volunteer reports and collaborate with Volunteer Leads across centres to ensure volunteer records are accurate and updated for compliance purposes.

Maintain accurate and timely volunteer records, reports and satisfaction surveys.

3. Community & Partner Engagement

Develop and maintain relationships with community partners such as schools, Community Clubs (CCs), Residents’ Committees (RCs), Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and other organisations.

Plan and participate in community collaboration events to expand programme reach and enhance engagement opportunities for seniors.

Support volunteer-related collaborations, community outreach initiatives and CSR partnerships.

4. Centre Operations

Work closely with the Centre Manager and internal teams to ensure smooth programme and volunteer operations.

Support the customer service team and centre operations as required by the Centre Manager.

Manage programme resources and budgets within approved limits.

Address day-to-day issues involving volunteers and participants and escalate significant operational or safeguarding matters where appropriate.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in any discipline.

1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred.

Experience in the social service sector orcommunity outreach is an advantage.

Good written and communication skills.

Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, withthe ability to engage seniors and volunteers.

Flexible, adaptable and possesses a positive “can-do”attitude.

IT-savvy, with proficiency in social mediaplatforms and Canva/design tools.

Willing to work on some weekends.
