RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY

a ]Responsible for maintenance of the machines and equipment both mechanical and electrical.
b] Responsible for production, workshop, and QA equipment maintenance related to mechanical nature.
c] Provides technical advice and guidance to the production personnel to achieve cost, productivity and quality requirements.
d] Advises the Maintenance Officer on the machine condition and necessary corrective action.
e] Assists the Technical Manager and Maintenance Officer in trouble shooting machine / equipment malfunction and establishes corrective action.
f] Responsible for the electrical installation and maintenance to support production and general facilities.
g] Responsible for the machine / equipment installation and fitting jobs.
h] To keep the machine / equipment and workshop clean and orderly.
i] Responsible for maintenance of the building.
j] To undertake other duties assigned or directed by the Maintenance Officer from time to time.
k] Liaise with regulatory authorities such as Department of Environment (DOE), Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), Bomba and etc.
l] Responsible on monitoring the compliance with ISO9001, ISO22000, BRC Standard and related documentation.
