Job Scope / Description:
Job Summary:
The Quality System Engineer is responsible for maintaining, implementing andcontinuously improving the company's QMS, EMS, OH&S) to ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards, customer requirements, regulatoryrequirements and internal quality objectives.
Therole supports quality system activities, internal and external audits, corrective and preventive actions, document control, risk management andcontinuous improvement to ensure consistent product and process quality.
Key Responsibilities
:
A. Management System (QMS, EMS, OH&S)
- Maintain andcontinuously improve the company's ISO 9001(QMS), ISO14001(EMS) and ISO45001(OH&S)System Management .
- The QMS, EMS and OSHSprocedures, work instructions, forms and records are properly created, updated, established, controlled and maintained.
- Monitor compliance withdocumented procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support implementationof changes to QMS requirements, customer requirements and applicable standards.
- Maintain qualityobjectives, quality KPIs and related performance monitoring.
- Support ManagementReview activities and prepare relevant quality performance data.
B. Document and RecordControl Management
Control and maintain ISO 9001(QMS), ISO14001(EMS) and ISO45001 (OH&S)System Management documents and quality records.
Support document revision and approval processes and support the release of the latest revision document to relevant process/work area.
Maintain appropriate retention and traceability of quality records.
C. Internal and ExternalAudits
- Plan and coordinateinternal quality audits according to the annual audit programme.
- Conduct internal auditsto verify compliance with ISO requirements and internal procedures.
- Support customer audits,certification audits and regulatory inspections.
- Coordinate audit findings, corrective actions and follow-up activities.
- Monitor the timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Maintain audit records and prepare audit reports.
- Prepare for presentationfor Management Review
Qualifications, Essential Knowledge and SkillsRequirements:
1. Candidate must possessat least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, QualityEngineering, or a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent.
2. Polytechnic Diplomaholders with 3–5 years of experience are encouraged to apply for this post
3. Familiarity with andknowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).
4. Certified ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Training and Qualification and able to plan and conduct internal audits
5. Working knowledge andapplication of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and the 8D problem-solving methodology.
6. Proficiency in Microsoftapplications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
7. Excellent communication,planning, documentation, presentation, and report-writing skills.
8. Self-starter with theability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
