Responsibilities:
- Works with defined design, develops detailed specifications for software programming applications
Designs, codes, tests & debug programs, maintains & document programs according to standards;
Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
1) Knows software coding techniques ( eg. Structured programming, modular programming, etc) and development tools in order to perform well defined coding tasks within a software program.
2) Knows basic techniques for eliciting requirements sufficient to understand the context of software problems and to perform requirements research.
3) Experience in web based software development Technical Skills:
- JAVA programming - JEE/J2EE and JBoss.- Experience in struts & swings.
- Operating System (Windows/Linux)
- IDE using Netbean or MS Visual Studio
- SQL Database programming. - Design and Modeling - Familiar in JBoss and Glassfish technologies and has implemented Java EE implementations on them.
- Familiar with IBM Rational Tools
- Familiar with the latest Web 2.0 technologies, JavaScript and AJAX.
- Some experience in mobile tablet application design & development, specifically Android and J2ME-based apps preferred
- Able to work well in a team
