• Review incoming maintenance requests for clarity, safety, priority, and energy impact.
• Conduct field walks to establish job scopes, required safety/environmental permits, specialty tools, and labor hours.
• Create detailed work packages for maintenance technicians, including step-by-step procedures, schematics, safety protocols, and parts lists.
• Scope and prepare plans for major plant turnarounds, equipment overhauls, or scheduled shutdowns.
• Utility Reliability: develop and schedule preventive maintenance programs for energy-intensive utility systems (compressed air, HVAC, and electrical distribution).
• Plan regular inspections and repair routines for compressed air leaks, insulation gaps, and thermal anomalies.
• Monitor CMMS data related to utility consumption and continuous run-times to flag degrading equipment efficiency before total failure occurs.
• Identify and recommend equipment/machine spare parts.
• Partner with procurement and store teams to order and reserve components prior to job execution.
• Build maintenance schedules balancing equipment/machine priority, and production schedules.
• Serve as the primary liaison between maintenance execution, engineering, operations, and external contractors.
• Maintain accurate equipment/machine history, work order statuses, and preventive maintenance master records in the CMMS.
• Track maintenance KPIs alongside energy key performance indicators (e.g., kWH per production tonnage).

Requirements:-

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, Energy Management, or equivalent technical trade experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in industrial maintenance, plant operations, or technical maintenance planning.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems. Ability to read P&IDs, electrical single-lines, and blueprints.
• Understanding of industrial utility systems, energy conservation measures (ECMs), and compressed air optimization.
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms and energy monitoring software.
• Strong time management and priority balancing between emergency repairs, routine PMs, and energy-efficiency projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). ISO 50001 (Energy Management Standards), and environmental regulations.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
