Job Summary

Perform comprehensive accounting tasks including issuing billings, updating financial reports, posting entries, and supporting audits to ensure accurate financial management and compliance.

Responsibilities

Issue monthly and quarterly billings and OPEX settlements to ensure timely revenue recognition

Prepare receipt vouchers for incoming funds, refunds, and monthly journal voucher entries to maintain accurate cash flow records

Update Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and follow up on outstanding balances to optimize collections

Update Balance Sheet schedules and coordinate with other divisions on unbilled items to ensure accurate financial statements

Retrieve quarterly SMF Reports and conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and support financial review

Retrieve dry dock and new building reports for final settlements to ensure correct accounting of project costs

Retrieve Cash Book and GST Report to support tax compliance and cash management

Perform weekly posting of accounting entries to external software to maintain up-to-date financial records

Assist in year-end audit queries and provide supporting documents to auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes

Check MCAS and Manning Agencies' Disbursement Accounts to verify accuracy and completeness

Execute other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior to support department operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced working environment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
