The Accounts & Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting and administrative operations of the College. The role includes basic accounting, student fee collection and records, documentation, and general administrative support to ensure the smooth daily operation of the College.
This is an entry-level position, and fresh graduates or candidates without prior working experience are welcome to apply. Training and guidance will be provided.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare invoices, official receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Record and update student fee payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding student fees and other payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and maintain proper payment records.
- Handle petty cash and staff expense claims.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment records, and other accounting documents.
- Assist with payroll documentation and payment preparation when required.
- Prepare supporting documents for accountants, auditors, company secretary, and other relevant parties.
- Assist with other accounting-related duties as assigned.
College Administration
- Assist with the daily administrative operations of the College.
- Maintain and update student, staff, and administrative records.
- Assist with student registration, enrolment, and general student administrative matters.
- Prepare letters, forms, reports, and other College documents.
- Handle filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, and document management.
- Respond to general enquiries from students and parents.
- Assist with procurement, office supplies, and vendor coordination.
- Provide administrative support to academic and other departments when required.
- Assist with basic HR administration, including staff records, attendance, leave records, and onboarding documentation.
- Assist with College meetings, activities, events, and other arrangements.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- No prior working experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as SQL Accounting, QuickBooks, or Xero is an advantage, but not compulsory.
- Training will be provided where necessary.
- Willing to learn and able to follow instructions.
- Responsible, organised, and attentive to details.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well with students, lecturers, colleagues, and management.
- Able to handle financial, student, and staff information confidentially.
- Able to communicate in English,Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
