Job Type: 1 year extendable contract with our client (payroll Avensys)

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Timings : Regular working hours

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI) Packaging Engineer to support the design and analysis of high-speed semiconductor systems. The role involves performing advanced SI/PI simulations across chip-package-board environments, ensuring optimal signal performance and power delivery for next-generation designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations and analysis for advanced semiconductor packages.
• Analyze and optimize high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and SerDes.
• Conduct eye diagram and jitter analysis to ensure signal quality.
• Evaluate and mitigate crosstalk, impedance discontinuities, and signal losses.
• Perform PDN (Power Delivery Network) analysis and optimization.
• Work with IBIS / IBIS-AMI models and S-parameter
• extraction.
• Support chip-package-board co-design and system-level integration.
• Collaborate with ASIC, package, and PCB design teams to resolve SI/PI issues.

Technical Skills :

• Hands-on experience with industry tools such as:
• Ansys HFSS / Siwave
• Cadence Sigrity
• ADS / HyperLynx
• Strong understanding of:
• High-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe,Ethernet, SerDes)
