Job Summary

Oversee and optimize daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production, maintain quality standards, and comply with food safety regulations. Lead and develop kitchen staff while managing inventory, costs, and cross-team coordination for timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily kitchen operations to achieve efficient and consistent food production

Develop and implement production schedules and allocate manpower to meet operational demands

Supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance productivity and maintain performance standards

Ensure strict compliance with SFA regulations, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency to uphold company standards

Oversee inventory management, stock ordering, supplier coordination, and cost control to optimize resources

Maintain and ensure safe operation of kitchen equipment through regular checks and preventive maintenance

Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Track kitchen expenses, minimize food wastage, and implement measures to improve operational efficiency

Prepare detailed operational reports and perform additional duties as assigned by Management

Required competencies and certifications

Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively manage and develop kitchen staff

Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate production schedules and resources

Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and suppliers

In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene and SFA regulatory requirements

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
