Role Description The Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, supporting clinicians and the clinic team in daily operations. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, setting up instruments and materials, and assisting dental surgeons during procedures. The role also involves welcoming patients, managing appointments, updating patient records, and coordinating basic administrative tasks such as filing and documentation. The Assistant helps maintain infection control standards, ensures equipment is cleaned and sterilized, and supports stock management of clinical supplies. This role requires working closely with colleagues to provide efficient, safe, and reassuring experiences for all patients.

Qualifications

• Strong patient service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
• Basic clinical support skills, including assisting during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and following infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Administrative and organizational abilities, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and managing daily clinic workflows.
• Attention to detail and reliability in handling instruments, materials, and clinical documentation safely and accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment, respond to instructions, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages commonly spoken in Singapore is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a dental or medical clinic is beneficial; relevant assistant or healthcare support training or certification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn clinical procedures, technologies, and safety standards, and to participate in ongoing training and development.
