Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Engineer tolead and coordinate structural steel engineering and construction activities for our projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with design, fabrication, construction, quality control, and project teams to ensure that structural steel works are technically sound, compliant with project requirements, and delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

·                    Review client design drawings to identify issues or discrepancies against actual construction needs.

·                    Conduct technical briefings for steel structure fabrication yards to address site conditions and resolve fabrication issues.

·                    Prepare steel structure method statements, work schedules, and resource plans to guide construction activities.

·                    Organize, coordinate, and monitor steel structure construction to ensure timely and quality delivery.

·                    Assist the Quantity Surveyor by supplying data and documentation for progress payment submissions.

·                    Support the Quality Control team by providing information and documentation for quality records.

Required Qualifications & Experience

·                    Degree  in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management

·                    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural steel engineering.

·                    Experience in preparing equipment lifting plans.

·                    Prefer TEKLA STRUCTURE SOFTWARE EXPERIANCE
