Senior Full-Stack Engineer, KMS SDKs (Mobile & Web)

Silence Laboratories builds cryptographic infrastructure for institutions that cannot afford to get key management wrong. Our core, written in Rust, powers MPC-based key management, threshold signing and post-quantum signing for banks, custodians and wallet providers.

We are looking for an engineer to own our KMS SDKs across languages and platforms. You will take our Rust core and make it usable for developers on iOS, Android and the web. That means clean APIs, secure handling of secrets on the device, and documentation good enough that an integrator ships without needing to talk to us.

What you will own

• The SDK surface of our KMS across Swift/Kotlin, React Native/Flutter, and TypeScript/WebAssembly, exposing Rust core features through well-designed bindings
• Secret management on phones: secure enclave and Keystore integration, key storage, backup and recovery flows
• Authentication on the device: biometrics, passkeys and device attestation, and how each one ties into key operations
• Developer experience end to end, including API design, reference apps, integration guides and API docs
• Working directly with our cryptography and core engineering teams and with customer engineering teams during integrations

We are looking for people who

• Have shipped production mobile SDKs or libraries that other developers depend on, and understand what makes an API pleasant or painful to integrate
• Are strong on both mobile (iOS and/or Android) and frontend/web, and comfortable moving across the stack when needed
• Understand mobile security in practice: Secure Enclave, Android Keystore/StrongBox, biometric prompts, and how secrets leak on devices
• Have worked across language boundaries through FFI, UniFFI, JNI, WebAssembly or similar, and know the trade-offs involved
• Write exceptionally well. For you, documentation is part of the product rather than an afterthought.
• Have taste in API design and know what is simple, what is merely clever, and what will break at an integrator's site
• Show complete ownership and think in terms of developer adoption and reliability, not tickets
• Have 5+ years of professional engineering experience in high-performing teams, including in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.

Good to have

• Experience writing Rust, or a strong interest in going deep on it
• Experience with mobile sensors and device signals (biometrics, motion, proximity, attestation) for authentication or risk decisions
• Familiarity with applied cryptography, wallets, or key management systems
