Brief job description
We are committed to enabling our development teams through a modern devops-driven approach. To achieve this, we have built an internal platform that provides automated tooling and capabilities for software development and operations, including ci/cd. This platform is the foundation for onboarding our product teams to curated azure services and accelerating their cloud adoption journey. Join us as a forward deployed engineer and play a key role in helping our software development teams migrate to the cloud and adopt devops best practices using our platform.
Your challenge

• Support multiple agile release trains (arts) and product teams in onboarding to our internal devops platform and curated azure services
• Drive the re-platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure-by-design principles
• Drive the migration of ci/cd pipelines from bitbucket/jenkins to gitlab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements
• Collaborate closely with development teams, educating and enabling them on devops practices, ci/cd automation, and cloud-native development
• Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption

Your profile

• Software engineer with profound hands-on experience (5+ years) in application development (java, .net, python, or similar)
Practical experience building and maintaining ci/cd pipelines and migrating between toolchains (bitbucket/jenkins
• gitlab)
• Strong understanding of devops principles, git workflows, and modern delivery practices
• Hands-on experience with microsoft azure services and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with deployment of containerized workloads and orchestration (nexus, helm, docker, kubernetes)
• Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments, where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries
• Cloud certifications (e.g., azure devops engineer expert) are a strong advantage
• Fluency in english (written/verbal)
• Excellent communication and coaching skills — able to simplify complex topics and guide teams through change
• Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in agile environments (safe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams
