Job Summary

Manage full sets of accounts and support financial reporting, tax compliance, and collections for a trading and distribution company with high-volume transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts to ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and management reports with detailed analysis to support business decisions
• Perform collections by engaging clients for payment and prepare overdue reports for sales staff to manage outstanding debts
• Prepare GST, import duty, withholding tax, and corporate income tax returns in compliance with statutory requirements
• Maintain fixed assets and inventory registers to ensure accurate asset tracking and inventory control
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing in accordance with Singapore Accounting Standards and local tax laws
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to facilitate audits and compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent field
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing full sets of accounts
• Knowledge of accounting procedures, Singapore Accounting Standards, and tax laws
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup) and PowerPoint

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in trading and distribution companies with high-volume transactions
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as a team player with a positive learning attitude and self-motivation

• Work schedule: 5 days work week
