Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.

Manage supplier selection, contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.

Source raw materials, products, packaging, equipment, and services.

Negotiate costs, payment terms, minimum order quantities, and delivery schedules.

Monitor supplier performance, quality, lead times, and reliability.

Analyse market trends, supplier pricing, and procurement costs.

Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams to understand purchasing requirements.

Develop cost-saving and supplier consolidation initiatives.

Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimising excess stock.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Prepare procurement reports, budgets, forecasts, and supplier performance analyses.

Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier relationships.

Lead and manage procurement executives or purchasing staff.
