Key responsibilities

• Receiving and processing: Unloading trucks, checking incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, and moving goods to their designated storage locations.
• Order fulfillment: Picking and packing items from inventory to prepare for shipment, which may include scanning, labeling, and weighing products.
• Inventory management: Organizing and maintaining stock, conducting regular inventory counts, and updating logs or using warehouse management software to track levels.
• Operations and maintenance: Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized.
• Shipping: Preparing outbound shipments, loading goods onto delivery vehicles, and ensuring they are properly secured.

Required skills and qualifications

• Physical ability: The ability to stand, walk, and carry stock when stock arrive.
• Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail for tasks like scanning, labeling, and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organization: Being highly organized to efficiently store items and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Teamwork and communication: The ability to work effectively with a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Safety awareness: A commitment to following all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
