Job Description

Primary duties: (Approximately 70 to 80% of daily work schedule)

  • Direct and supervise the daily activities of subordinates in the manufacture of mold parts.
  • Coordinate with the planner to resolve operational issues with the tool.
  • Perform a mold test.
  • Make and modify the necessary mold parts according to the mold specifications
  • Applications EDM, lathes, milling, drilling, grinding and polishing machines.
  • Perform necessary planning and occasional maintenance of all tools and tools
  • Develop and maintain a continuous preventative maintenance program for all Mold processing Or machine tool processing.
  • Prepare technical drawings.
  • Provide technical training to enhance subordinates' competency.

Secondary duties: (Approximately 20 to 30% of daily work schedule)

  • Maintain sufficient stock of mold parts to ensure continuous production liaise with certain suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Monitor the status of the mold during production
  • Maintain proper filling and documentation.

Qualifications

  • The ability to set up and check work with precision tools and measuring instruments.
  • Skills and capabilities to process, repair and replace molds and machine parts.
  • A clear understanding of the mold design and ability to modify the mold design.
  • Have a certain understanding of the finished product injection.
