The Thinking Space is looking for a proactive and reliable IT Intern to support our day-to-day IT operations.

This hands-on role focuses on maintaining IT equipment, providing first-level technical support, and assisting with technology requirements for our training programmes and corporate events.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle, track, and maintain IT equipment, including laptops, peripherals, network devices, and UPS units.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and relocation of IT hardware.
• Provide first-level IT support to staff and building occupants.
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
• Report hardware faults and coordinate with vendors or supervisors when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, service requests, and issue logs.
• Support cable management, equipment labelling, and server room organisation.
• Assist with IT projects, research, documentation, and other assigned tasks.
• Participate in on-site visits, deployments, and event support when required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of audiovisual equipment and video conferencing platforms is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised, and willing to learn.
• Willing to support events outside normal office activities when required.
