About Our Client

A company operating within the retail industry in Kuala Lumpur.

Job Description

  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations, including full set accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and review Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and liquidity position, ensuring effective cash management.
  • Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and performance dashboards to support senior management and business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal control policies.
  • Manage the payroll function, including salary processing, statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and employee compensation records.
  • Oversee HR administration matters, including employee onboarding, leave management, personnel records, and HR policy implementation.
  • Partner with department heads to monitor costs, improve operational efficiency, and drive business performance through financial insights.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experienced with Start Up company is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
