Full-Time IGCSE Physics Tutor

Commitment: Full-Time (In-person only)

About the Role

We are hiring a Physics Tutor with deep subject knowledge and a passion for simplifying complex concepts. If you enjoy helping students understand Physics through both conceptual clarity and practice, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE Physics for Grade 7–10 for 1-1 or group settings

• Conduct structured lessons on theory, problem-solving, and data response

• Break down challenging topics (e.g. kinematics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics)

• Run mock assessments and timed practices with feedback

• Develop and maintain resource banks and lesson slides

• Participate in curriculum planning and academic workshops

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Physics, with knowledge of the IGCSE Physics curriculum.

• Effective communicator, especially in explaining abstract concepts

• Familiar with the IGCSE Physics syllabus

• Committed to helping students improve through clear instruction and feedback

• Able to create well-structured notes and exercises

• Applicants must be currently based in Singapore and legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Graduates and senior tutors with outstanding Physics grades are welcome to apply.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: $4,500 – $8,000

• Bonuses: Performance- and contribution-based incentives

Work Schedule

• 5-day week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)

• Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Weekends: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (negotiable)
