Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to drive software development initiatives while leading a team of engineers in delivering scalable and high-quality applications. You will provide technical leadership, define solution architecture, and guide the team through Agile development practices while ensuring successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, proven hands-on delivery experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing engineering teams and driving successful project and enhancement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, solution design, and architectural guidance.
• Take a hands-on role in software development, technical solutioning, troubleshooting, and delivery where required.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of software projects and application enhancements, ensuring timelines, quality, and business requirements are met.
• Drive Agile/Scrum delivery and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members, promoting engineering best practices and continuous learning.
• Review system architecture, application design, code quality, and technical deliverables.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues throughout development and implementation.
• Support DevOps adoption, CI/CD implementation, and software delivery improvements.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-assisted software development where appropriate.
• Ensure high standards of software quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams of five or more software engineers.
• Strong technical background with proven hands-on software development and delivery experience.
• Strong experience delivering software projects and application enhancements from design through implementation and production support.
• Strong experience delivering projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in software architecture, solution design, and technical decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams while remaining technically involved in delivery.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to AI-assisted SDLC/PDLC tools will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
