Senior / Vision Solution Engineer

We’re looking for a Vision Solution Engineer to develop and improve machine vision systems for inspection, measurement and defect detection. You’ll work on vision hardware and software, troubleshoot technical issues, and introduce new vision technologies to projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vision applications for inspection, measurement and defect detection.
• Select and configure cameras, lighting, PCs, frame grabbers and other vision components.
• Optimise vision system performance based on project requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers and field service teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct system training when required.
• Explore and implement new vision technologies for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in machine vision applications.
• Hands-on experience with HIK, OpenCV, HALCON or Cognex VisionPro is preferred.
• Programming experience in C++, C# or Python.
• Knowledge of optical inspection systems, TCP/IP, RS-232 and camera interfaces.
• Experience with deep learning-based vision solutions is an advantage.
• Willing to travel for project and customer support.
