Job Summary:
Responsible for electrical design review, compliance checks, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of electrical and control systems for lift projects and maintenance.
The Role:
1) BD / Tender Support
Review technical specifications in tender documents.
Evaluate electrical system compliance with local codes.
Identify technical gaps or non-compliance risks.
2) Design & Project Stage
Review shop drawings and engineering calculations.
Verify compliance of electrical systems to codes and client requirements.
Review and approve parts listing (electrical components).
Support Project Team on technical issues.
Attend consultant/main contractor meetings where required.
3) QAQC & Reliability
Monitor reliability of electrical components.
Perform 20-80 fault analysis on electrical failures.
Conduct data analytics on lift fault data.
Carry out root cause investigations (e.g., control faults, door faults).
Conduct QC acceptance checks and supplier quality assessments.
Assist in supplier audits.
4) Commissioning & Operations
Support T&C checks prior to lift operation.
Assist in troubleshooting major electrical faults.
Support LEW in commissioning and inspections.
What Do You Need to Have?
Candidates must possess either a Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
He/she must possess at least 3 years electrical or electronics engineering work experience preferably within lift industry.
Candidates with LEW license is preferred.
He/she must possess working experience or strong understanding of lift electrical and/or electronics systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on and detail oriented.
