Site Engineer – Construction

Location: Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia
Project: Hospital Construction Project
Salary: Up to RM6,000 per month
Employment Type: Contract – Until Project Completion
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Availability: Immediate to 1 Month Notice Period

Job Description

We are urgently seeking a capable and experienced Site Engineer to join a hospital construction project in Kulim, Kedah.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Manager or Site Manager.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet project quality requirements.
• Review drawings and coordinate site activities accordingly.
• Monitor work schedules and assist in ensuring timely completion of assigned works.
• Prepare and maintain relevant site records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure site activities comply with safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in building or construction projects.
• Experience in large-scale building, hospital, commercial, or institutional projects will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and construction methods.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and site teams.
• Available to join immediately or within 1 month.

Salary: Up to RM6,000 per month

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
