Job Title: Warehouse Maintenance Executive

Department: Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Warehouse Maintenance Executive to oversee the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facility. This role goes beyond daily cleaning to include equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems, floor scrubbers).

• Inspect the facility regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or pest control issues; take corrective action promptly.

• Manage relationships with external contractors for specialized repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and pest management services.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, PPE, and maintenance parts; place orders as needed.

• Lead and train a team of cleaners and junior maintenance staff, ensuring work quality and safety protocols are followed.

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests (e.g., major spills, equipment breakdowns) and coordinate swift resolution.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety, environmental, and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, industrial, or commercial maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Strong understanding of workplace safety.

• Ability to read maintenance reports, safety data sheets (SDS), and equipment manuals.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Physically fit to inspect all areas of the warehouse, including heights and confined spaces.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

• May require working on weekends, evenings, or on-call shifts for emergency coverage.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
