About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our accounting operations. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and providing exceptional support to our bookkeeping and small practice accounting services. This role is essential to maintaining the strong relationships we have built with our clients whilst ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and maintaining detailed financial records for assigned client accounts

• Preparing and reconciling bank statements, general ledgers, and trial balances

• Processing invoices, receipts, and expense reports with accuracy and attention to detail

• Assisting with payroll administration and tax compliance for small to medium-sized business clients

• Liaising directly with clients to address queries, resolve discrepancies, and provide account updates

What we're looking for

• No working experience is required as training will be provided

• Diploma/degree in Accounting (or equivalents)

• Proficiency in accounting software packages and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger management

• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

• Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
