Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 1. Stock Control and Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation exercises to minimize discrepancies; monitor and verify incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring all records are updated accurately.
- 2. Receiving and Dispatch Support: Inspect incoming shipments for correct quantity, quality, and damages; assist with unloading, sorting, organizing incoming goods; arrange orders for dispatch, ensure proper and secure packaging, and verify dispatch documentation.
- 3. Storage and Organization: Maintain organized storage areas with clear labeling for easy product identification; ensure proper stacking, especially for fragile and bulky home appliances, following safe handling practices.
- 4. Warehouse Safety and Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards; follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
- 5. Supplies and Equipment Monitoring: Monitor stock levels of warehouse supplies like pallets, packing materials, and warehouse equipment; report shortages and coordinate timely replenishment.
- 6. Stock Movement and Branch Support: Assist in coordinating stock transfers between warehouse and branches or event sites; ensure accurate record-keeping for restocks and branch replenishments.
- 7. Event Support: Assist in the setup, stock preparation, and closing for roadshow events; ensure all products for events are properly packed, labeled, and transported securely.
