Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations.
- Process inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Reconcile physical stock against system records and resolve discrepancies.
- Track inventory movements including receiving, put-away, transfers, returns, and dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with customer inventory requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
Stock Control & Audits
- Conduct daily cycle counts and periodic stock takes.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor stock aging, shelf-life, and inventory status where applicable.
- Prepare inventory adjustment documentation and obtain necessary approvals.
- Support customer and internal inventory audits.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate inventory reports and KPIs on stock accuracy, discrepancies, and inventory trends.
- Analyze inventory issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management and customers.
Operational Support
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate inventory activities during inbound, outbound, and value-added operations.
- Support system implementations, customer onboarding, and inventory migrations.
- Ensure inventory processes comply with company SOPs and customer requirements.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes.
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives within warehouse operations.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong inventory management and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
- Strong problem-solving and investigation skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
