Sales Executive / Sales Engineer (BD Role)

Locations: Kuala Lumpur & Butterworth, Penang, Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: RM 5,000 – RM 6,500 per month (plus incentives)

Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Sales Executives / Sales Engineers to join our teams in Kuala Lumpur and Butterworth (Penang). The ideal candidate will have experience in selling engineering plastics, specialty chemicals, or semiconductor-related products, with a strong passion for business development and customer engagement.

This role requires:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
• A proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented approach

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with both new and existing clients
• Promote and sell company products (plastics, chemicals, semiconductor-related materials)
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up on sales opportunities
• Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Logistics, Technical) to ensure customer satisfaction
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth in Malaysia
• Provide feedback and market insights to management for strategy development

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry, or Business
• 1–3 years of sales experience preferred (industrial products / chemicals / semiconductor industries); fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia (oral & written)
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and willing to travel
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
