Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and technically competent Automotive Technician to join our After Sales team at e.MAS Bangsar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspection, servicing, diagnosis, maintenance and repair, with a focus on Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspection, servicing and scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle mechanical, electrical and electronic issues.
• Perform EV system inspection, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Assist in the diagnosis and repair of high-voltage EV components and systems according to approved procedures.
• Perform inspection and basic troubleshooting of EV battery, charging and electrical systems.
• Carry out repair, replacement and adjustment of vehicle components as required.
• Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Conduct vehicle testing after servicing or repair to ensure proper operation.
• Accurately record technical findings, repair work and parts used.
• Follow e.MAS technical standards, repair procedures and workshop guidelines.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and within the required timeframe.
• Maintain proper care and use of workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Comply with all EV and high-voltage safety procedures.
• Attend technical, EV and product training as assigned.
• Perform other duties related to workshop operations as assigned by the After Sales Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Automotive, Vehicle Maintenance, Electrical, Electronics or related field.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician is preferred.
• Experience with EV / Hybrid vehicles will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnosis and repair.
• Able to use automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Possess a valid Class D driving licence.
• Willing to undergo EV and high-voltage technical training.
• Responsible, disciplined and safety-conscious.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
