Job Responsibility

We are seeking for a Financial Accountant who can perform a multitude of responsibilities, including:

Financial Operations

• Full-set accounting including AP, AR, and GL

• Daily bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance

• Fixed asset management, accruals, and prepayments

Month-End Closing & Reporting

• Completion of monthly close within D+10 timeline

• Preparation of Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet

• Variance analysis and reporting

Taxation & Compliance

• GST filings (quarterly) and reconciliations

• Corporate tax support (ECI, Form C-S/C)

• Payroll statutory compliance (CPF, IR8A, etc.)

Qualifications and requirements

A degree is preferred although it is not always mandatory. A qualification in the following is particularly favoured:

• Accounting/Business/Economics degree

• CPA / ACCA or its equivalent

Soft and Technical skills to have:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic Business Central

• Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently

• Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

METRO RAIL ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE LTD (MRES) is an engineering services company formed from a core team of experienced installation and testing & commissioning personnel with 15 years of Singapore Power Supply System for Rail Transportation and Infrastructure development sectors.

We provide comprehensive specialist services to Railway and Infrastructure development sectors from Project Management, Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning and Maintenance for the following sub-systems;

• High Voltage Power Supply
• Conductor Rail - 3rd Rail
• OHE/ ROCS
• Rolling Stock Maintenance

Our core competency areas are High Voltage & Medium Voltage Power Supply systems which includes 22kV AC, 33kV AC, 750V DC, Stinger Rail, Railway Safety System PLC/ SCADA and Auxiliary Equipments.

SERVICES

We provide the following Project Management services to High Voltage Power Supply, Conductor Rail - 3rd Rail, OHE/ ROCS and Rolling Stock Maintenance. From start to finish, or provide specialist support for individual phases of the project.
