Responsibilities
Design, layout, and route high-density printed circuit boards (PCBs) using advanced EDA tools while adhering to industry standards for signal and power integrity.
Collaborate with hardware engineers and manufacturing teams to review schematics, define board constraints, and resolve design-for-manufacturing (DFM) issues prior to production.
Create, manage, and verify component footprints and schematic symbols to maintain an accurate and reliable internal component library.
Perform design rule checks (DRC) and layout simulations to identify and mitigate potential electrical, thermal, or mechanical bottlenecks.
Document and maintain comprehensive manufacturing packages, including Gerber files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and assembly drawings.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven hands-on experience in PCB design, schematic capture, and multi-layer board layout within a technical manufacturing or hardware development environment.
Skills: Proficiency in professional EDA software (such as Altium Designer), strong understanding of signal integrity, trace impedance, and thermal management principles.
Education: Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering ( graduate by 2027 ) or a related technical discipline.
Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional engineering team.
