Responsibilities
Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Support Engineer to support the reliability, stability, and performance of software applications in an IT product environment.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, business users, security teams, and vendors to monitor systems, troubleshoot technical issues, manage incidents, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1, L2 and L3 technical/application support for production and non-production environments.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot system issues.
Manage application and security incidents, including investigation, escalation and resolution within SLA.
Work with developers, architects, security teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Support AWS/cloud environments and assist business users with AWS-based AI use cases.
Maintain operational procedures, system documentation and service records.
Prepare operational reports, analyse system statistics and provide updates to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
Support change management, incident management and IT service management processes.
Coordinate operations teams and vendors to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
Proven experience as an Operations Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Production Support Engineer or similar IT role.
Experience in incident management, troubleshooting and production support.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch or APM tools.
Knowledge of DevOps, Agile and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with scripting/automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible is an advantage.
Good understanding of security, access control and IT service management.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
