Overview

The Technical Manager is responsible foroverseeing the technical and operational activities of the CNC machine shop.The role includes managing CNC machining processes, supervising productionteams, ensuring product quality, maintaining machinery performance, andsupporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage daily operations of CNCmachining and manufacturing activities.

·       Plan, coordinate, and monitorproduction schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.

·       Supervise CNC programmers,machinists, and technical staff.

·       Oversee setup, programming, andoperation of CNC milling, turning, and machining center machines.

·       Ensure compliance withengineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

·       Troubleshoot machining andproduction issues to minimize downtime.

·       Monitor machine maintenanceschedules and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.

·       Optimize machining processes toimprove productivity, efficiency, and cost control.

·       Support new productdevelopment, tooling selection, and process improvement activities.

·       Ensure workplace safetycompliance and implementation of safety procedures.

·       Coordinate with customers,suppliers, and internal departments on technical matters.

·       Prepare technical reports,production documentation, and operational analysis.

Requirements

·       Diploma or Degree in MechanicalEngineering or related field.

·       Strong experience in CNCmachining, machine operation, and manufacturing processes.

·       Knowledge of CNC programming,tooling, precision engineering, and quality control.

·       Experience in managingproduction teams and workshop operations.

·       Familiar with machiningmaterials, tolerances, and engineering drawings.

·       Good leadership, communication,and problem-solving skills.
